Playing Catch Up

As Bryce mentioned it's been a long while since we posted anything on our house blog. We've had countless events that warrant posts but have been too busy (read: lazy) to post him. So here's a small collection of what's happened at 1058 South Slate:

On stage with Petey Pablo during Raise Up (take your shirt off, twist it around your hand spin it like a helicopter) At the Cavs game in Cleveland.
G Love and Eric going to the Semi-Pro opening night.
Jonesy and Eric's Trip to the USC vs. UCLA game.
G Love's Departure
Winter Golf Trip to St. George with Giles, Bryce, Jonesy, and Eric.

G la B

We haven't posted on our blog in a real long time and we at 1058 do apologize. Allot has changed. First and for most Grant decided to do what many can't and moved out of Provo to Florida to pursue his career with Frito Lay. You would think that that in and of itself is big news and he has been missed, but he Also got ENGAGED! Yup Van Wilder is really doing it! Congrats Man Bear!

In other news... Jones is going to fall here soon (unofficial... and he's probably going to be mad that I wrote that, but we have to keep things real). Needless to say Jones isn't around all that often. He goes to work and comes home for about ten minutes to change, then is out the door. The only time we talk to him is when he runs downstairs and Yells "BRYCE" or "D NIX" or "EEEJ", like its his way of saying, "hi, I'm still your friend but glad I have a girlfriend and not watching the Olympics with you guys tonight." You can't help but be happy for him cause you all know what Jones is like when he is grumpy.

For the rest of us its that same ol stuff. Eric and I go to work and do our best to get off early to go golfing or whatever. Dave gets pampered by BYU and comes home saying he is "soooo tired" but seems to have enough energy to "hangout with his wife (which changes daily)".

Provo CHAMPS!!!

Although none of my roommates were part of the team, they did contribute as a great fan section. It did although take forever to convince Dave that it's cool to attend football games that have less than 60,000 people in attendance. We had to come up through the losers bracket, but in the end crowned "CHAMPIONS" (as the shirts show). Special thanks goes to: Clinton- (corporate sponsor), Chris- (coach) for not getting kicked out by swearing at female referees, all of my teammates, and OF COURSE the fans.

Tennis Anyone?

Happy Halloween from the Ghostly Ghosts!!!

If you were at the Hollywood House on Halloween night you probably saw two ghosts gliding through the air. Many people said it was the best costumes they had ever seen. I might have to retire my participation in Halloween because I personally don't know how to top it. If you weren't there you missed out big time but hopefully this picture gives you a little bit of an idea of how we looked. -EJ
